T. Bailey), in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when W. Corrona, boot manufacturer, of Adelaide road, admitted, exposing unstamped footwear for sale.
Corrona'a explanation was that he was not aware that it wag necessary for him to stamp the goods. ...'-.. Mr. Bailey.said thai the defendant, who had been conducting the business since the death of his father, had been informed, of the requirements of the Act on 24th August, 1926. ■" Mr. -E. Page, S.M., imposed' a fine of £10, the maximum penalty.
