FIRE, AND NO WATER

TAUMARUNUI, This Day. A fire last night destroyed a four-roomed residence and outbuildings owned by Mr. A. Venn and occupied by Mr. A. Laidvale. No water was available, and the brigade could no nothing. The cause of the fire is unknown. The insurance on the house was £300 in the State Office, and £200 on the furniture in the Southern Union.
