COMMITTED FOR TRIAL
INTIMIDATION ALLEGED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) . ' TATJMABUNUI, 20th January. ' In the Magistrate's Court to-day, John Henry Blanc pleaded not guilty to a charge of discharging a firearm with intent to intimidate and annoy Andrew Russell Aitken and Agnes Aitken. Aoeused was committed to. the Supreme Court at Hamilton for trial.
Sergeant O'Brien.said it was alleged that Blanc went home to Rangaroa on 11th January in his motor-car, and^met Aitken 'a two. boys, who were on thenway home, and after some talk, discharged the firearm twice in their direction. He also, it was alleged, threatened Mr. and Mrs. Aitken, and ired a shot which struck their house.
Bail was allowed, self in £100, and one surety of a like amount.
