KING'S THEATRE.

Something new and delightful in entertainment is promised in "Fascinating xoutn, -a Paramount Special Production, which opens a week's season with to™Bht b presentation at the King's Theatre- , T J-llere 'a a matinee to-morrow and 9" M°nd ?y afternoon, commencing at j.M. It is unique in motion-picture history, inasmuch as it features the sixteen junior stars of 1927. This group of young players, new screen material, are known as the Paramount Junior Stars. They are the players who were taught the technique of the screen in the Paramount school, and such seasoned and capable actors as Ealph Lewis, Joseph Burke, and others appear with them. In the picture also are introduced a host of screen celebrities, who all play parts. They are .Richard Dix, Adolphe Menjou, Lois Wilson,, Percy Marmont, Clara Bow, Thomas Meighan, Lila Lee, and Chester Conklin. A 4i r?, ctor 4 Sam Wood, made many of the Wally Heid pictures and the Gloria bwanson features. The story is from the pen of Byron Morgan, who is known as a writer of thrilling tales that have a racing finish. The ice boat race at the conclusion of the picture is reported to be one of the most breathless and thrilling episodes yet photographed for the screen. A Paramount Gazette,- Cartoon, and the most laughable of comedies comprises the supporting programme. The King's Select Orchestra, under the direction of, Mr. A. H. Jerome, will play a particularly fine programme of music. The theatre telephone is available after 5.45 p.m. for bookings.
