QUEEN'S THEATRE.
Tom Mix, the famous Western star, excels himself in "No Man's Gold," which heads the new programme at the Queen's Theatre this week. The story is one that will hold the attention of any audience from beginning to end* It deals with the discovery of a mother lode of virgin gold. Wat Lyman, the prospector who discovers the mine, has been followed by Frank Healy, a notorious gambler who shoots him down, intending to rob him of the map. But before he has an opportunity to do this Tom Stone, foot-loose cowboy, and Lefty Logan are attracted by the shot. Lyman makes the three men, including Healy, whom he does not know as his murderer, promise to share the wealth of the mine with his boy_. To protect his son he tears the map into three parts, giving each of the men one of the pieces, men follows a battle of wits between Healy and his fellow-desperadoes on the one hand and Tom on the other. The supports include a gazette, a scenic, and a comedy. The Queen's Select Orchestra has a specially-prepared programme of incidental music. Box plans are open at J-ne Bristol until 5 o'clock daily (noon on Saturday). The theatre telephone is also available for bookings.
