The Shaw-Savill steamer Athenic, at present loading at Lyttelton, is due here on Sunday to complete; and sails from this port on 29th January for Southampton and London, via Panama. *

The Komata is to leave Westport to-morrow aad Is due here on Sunday. The Totara Is due from New Plymouth tomorrow, and will later leave for Lyttelton. The Walpiata fc to leave Auckland on Monday for Wellington, and 13 due here on Wednesday.

THE CANADIAN PLANTER.

The Canadian Planter, which arrived at Auckland on Wednesday afternoon from Montreal and Sydney (C.8.), left the latter port on 9th December. Except for stormy weather for the first two days, conditions were generally fine. Captain D. S. Macdonald is in command, and the following are the officersChief, Mr. B. Ingram; second, Mr. J. F. TBANS-PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS.

The Walruna left Napier on 12th January for Melbourne and Sydney. She Is due at Melbourne to-day, at Sydney on 24th January, and clears Newcastle on sth February for Suva and Vancouver.

The Wattemata left Westport on 12th January for Vancouver direct, where she is due on 9th February. She loads .at Pacific Coast ports during February for Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney.

The Hauraki is now loading at Pacific Coast ports for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. She is expected to clear San Francisco on 2Gth January The Waihemo loadi at Pacific Coast ports late in :January end early In February for Apia, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth, Wellington, and Melbourne.

The Waiotapu, from San Francisco, Is duo at Auckland on 25th. January, thence to Wellington, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Melbourne.

THE CITY OB' WINCHESTER.

The City of Winchester is due at Oamaru on Thursday next to commence loading for Home. She is later due at Wellington, and trill be here from 30th January to Oth February. Afterwanis she will go to Wanganui, and Bluff to complete, and is timed to sail on 18th February for London, via Cape Horn.

NEXT NEW YORK DISPATCH.

Mr. W. Wallis advises that the next A. and A ,\ L'nj>-dispatch from New York w in be the City of Khartoum, ex the Karroo, which is scheduled to sail on 22nd February for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedln. She is due at Auckland on 11th March.

PORT BOWEN LOADING.

The Port Bowen, now loading at Lyttelton, is expected tc sail to-morrow for New Plymouth thence to Waikokopu and Napier to complete her Home-cargo. She is expected to sail finally from Napier ou-_4th February for London, via
