DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.
Ifk'lds of just handy size will be seen out at Wingatui on Boxing Day. The horses are representative of the South Island, and some really good gallopers,
capable of holding their own in any company, will be seen in action.
Ravenna and Overdrawn will be bracketed, in the Otago Handicap, and of the pair Overdrawn appeals more than Ravenna. Centrepiece' has yet to win over ten furlongs, but his past efforts suggest his staying on. Of the others, Pink Terrace makes the most appeal, but one returns to Centrepiece. Booster has only to reproduce his Stewards' Handicap form to be well iv the limelight in the Federal Handicap. Arpent is almost due, and Countersign has only to run up to her early spring form to carry 7.7 with distinction.
The two-year-old handicap promises to be one of the most interesting racea of the day. Jericho and Money Peer have the best credentials. Jericho promises extra well.
In the minor exents horses who appear well placed include Guncase, Dark Spot, Gold Mint, Credit, and Sweet Melody.
