ATTENDING TO DUTY.
Margaret, aged 7, aflter carefully inquiring the duties of officers, organised a club of her playmates. Her mother one day, coming in upon a irveetmg of this club, noticed that one little girl was holding the clock in front ofi her face.
"You had better p*t that down," said the mother.
"She has to have it!" exclaimed Margaret. "She is the- secretary and she's keeping the minute*."
