DryKjleftuing Gloves. —Put the gloves on the hands, or lay them flat on a clean board. Take equal parts of finely powdered alum and fuller's earth, and brush tho mixture well into the gloves; let it remain for an hour before brushing out. . Dust, the gloves well with fine bran and whiting, after which give them a good shaking, to free them from powder. Should the gloves be very greasy, this method many not affect tho much-soiled parts, which may be cleaned with burnt bonepowder, and then rubbed with a piece of flannel dipped in dry fuller's earth.
