Tho procession reached tho Palace in perfect order. A hugo crowd clamoured for tho appearance of tho Princo and Princess, who, "ivcro vociferously acclaimed when they appeared on a balcony. Tno peoplo wero much touched by the simplicity of tho Princess, and shouted, "Vive Astrid!" to the strains of the "Brabanconne" and tho Swedish National Anthem. When the King of the Belgians and hia Consort appeared they also -eceived a frantic ovation, and tho bride's family, in turn, wore warmly greeted. Long after the windows of tho Palace had been, dosed the crowd remained. Prhieo Leopold a-nd Princess Astrid ! spent tho honeymoon at Cairo. j
