Seas—Rough southward of Cane Egmont and southward of L'astlcpoint; moderato elsewhere. Tides—Good generally. Warning signals for westerly gales are exhibited at, Ciistlepoint, Cape Campbell, Stephen Island, Farewell Spit, aud Nugget Point. Weather—Bull and misty weather, with lu'nvy rain and flooded rivers in the Went Crrast and southern districts of the South Island: warm and sultry conditions, liut clouding over aud rain later, elsewhere.
