GANGER FATALLY INJURED
KNOCKED DOWN IN TUNNEL.

AUCKLAND, 22nd August,
. David Leslie Hanson, married, a railway ganger, residing at Ponrose, was knocked down- by an engine at tho Parnell tunnel at 11 o'clock yesterday morning. He was admitted to the hospital suffering from a broken leg and serious head injuries, from the effects of which he died to-day.
