Thousands of women, headed by Mrs. Pankhurst, Mrs. Despard, Dame JVwcett, and including women members of tho House of Commons and candidates, Justices of the Peace, borough councillors, teachers, students, and actresses, marched in procession to Hyfle Park, demanding the franchise for women on equal terms with men.
