HEMP AND TOW GRADINGS.

Figures supplied by the Chief Hemp Grader show that in June the quantity of hemp and tow graded Was 6506 and 1717 bales, as compared with 7230 and 1898 baiei in Juno last year. Tho three chief Hemp pons are Weir lington, Foxton, and Auckland. We graded 2170 bales, of which 372 was good fair and 923 high fair. Auckland graded 1099 bales, of which 461 was high fair, no good fair. Foxton graded 1305 bales, of which 858 was high fair, no good fair. Bluff graded GBS bales, Wairoa 460. Of tho Dominion total (6506 bales), 064 bales were good fair, 3560 high fair, 1588 low fair, 445. common,. 249 rejected. Tho reject included 133 bales at Foxton.
