THE DON COSSACKS.
The Don Cossacks Choir having been booked to leave Wellington for London by the Ruahine on 17th July, the management have been fortunate, partly through the courtesy of the committee of the Boy Scoutl* Association, who relinquished their date in favour of the Cossacks, in securing the Wellington Town Hall for two farewell concerts on 15th and 16th July. For these valedictory concerts special programmes are being compiled, which will include the richest and rarest gems of the Cossacks' extensive repertoire, including a series of religious numbers. The management wish it to be known that a limited number of specially requested items will be given by way of extras. During the recent season, the real merit of that truly wonderful choir was not gauged untilw almost too late, and at the final concert many intending patrons were turned away disappointed. It is this fact, and a whole sheaf of communications asking for a return visit that hjvc persuaded the director (Mr. E. J. Carroll) to arrange for these final opportunities, and to obviate any eleventhhour rush for se»ts the box plan is now available at the Bristol.
