A MONTH OF GRACE

In the . Magistrate's Court to-day, a Mangainutu dairy farmer sought possession of a tenement from a married sawmill hand, alleging that the place had got into bad disrepair, and that the tenant waß unsatisfactory. The Magistrate, in consideration of defendant having a family o'£ seven children, said that he would need very strong evidence before he would put them out on the street. Ho adjourned the case for a month. "In the meantime," he added, "the defendant is expected to put some ginger into his search for another tenement,"
