NEW ZEALAND v. WELLINGTON,

Bleak southerly weather, with rain, made conditions decidedly unpleasant for the big Rugby match at Athletic Park this afternoon—New Zealand v. Wellington. The attendance v/as considerably affected, and with ball and turf greasy the display of football was far from the spectacle/that had been anticipated prior to the change in the weather. A further change in the New Zealand team was necessary on account of Stewart suffering from an injured knee. Hazlett filled the vacancy. Brown was unable to attend as an emergency on account of a cold.
