KING'S THEATRE.
"Cheaper to Marry" is the title of the picture which is the main attraction at the King's Theatre this week. The picture tells a smart, sophisticated story of the manner in which two men manage their romance in life. Lewis Stone heads the cast, and Paulette Duval, a new face, from the Ziegfeld "Follies," has the leading feminine role. There is an excellent Bupportin6' programme, including stereoscopiks. "The Still Alarm," a romantic story of the fire department, is booked to be screened on Friday. This unusual Universal-Jewel has been given a wonderful cast which includes Helen o Chadwick, William Rusbbll, Richard C. Travers, John T. Murray, Dot Farley, Edna Marian, Edward Heam, Jacques d'Auray and Erin La Bissoniere. "The Still Alarm" was directed by Edwanrl Laemmle, who has made it a picture that everyone will want to see. It is basod on the old melodrama of the same name that years ago was a favourite stage play. It is a. deft and skilful combination of melodrama, pathos, comedy, and realism; told hi scenes both colourful and thrilling.
