FLOCK HOUSE REUNION
FOOTBALL AND SPORTS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., 29th June. To-day was a day of sport in connection with the annual reunion activities at Flock House Station. An enjoyable tiino is being spent in tho open, under favourable conditions. A knock-out Association football competition was held among the various drafts. There were seven teams in the competition. Messra. J. Davidson, C. W. Duncumb, and Idione, of Palmerston, controlled the games. In the ovening the boys were entertained by a concert party from Marton. The final of the Soccer match will be played to-morrow, when a contest will take place between this season's and last season's senior teams, this .being the most popular fixture at Flock House. All classes of athletic sports will also ue conducted during the day and in the evening the chief event, namoly, the annual reunion and prizegiving ceremony, will take place. The speakers for tho occasion will be the Hon.' E. Newman, chairman of trustees, Colonel C. G. Powles, Mr. J. Linklater, M.P., and Mr. T. E. Lees, managing trustee, and other trustees of the fund. In addition it is expected that Sir Heaton Rhodes will be in attendance.
