ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

Tb-niglit, at the Town Hall, a dance is being held by the St. John Ambulance Association in aid of its building funds. The need for' suitable quarters for the bousing of an ambulance has been long felt in Wellington, and it is the association's aim to erect its own building and have placed at the disposal of the public a modern ambulance and the necessary appliances. A committee of ladies has been working energetically, and the dance should be the means of 'augmenting the fund. The latest music is being provided by Bird's Columbian Orchestra, and, by request, the French tango has been included on the programme. Dancing commences at 8.30 and continues until 1 a.m.
