CONFEKENCE WITH EMPLOYERS.
A "Post" reporter was informed this afternoon that the conference between the seamen and the shipowners to consider the framing of a new agreement ■will be held in Wellington on 17th May. Demands have been forwarded to the employers by the Seamen's Union, but they are not available for publication. When asked if a copy of the demands was available, Mr. W. T. Young, general secretary of the • Seamen 'a Federation, stated that they were strictly confidential. . "
