"SILLY OLD MEN"
FRENCH WOMAN'S MATRIMONIAL FRAUDS.

GENEVA, 2nd May.
A handsome French woman, Josephine Lugrin, aged fifty, was arrested on charges of numerous frauds. It was alleged that she had become engaged to thirty-four wealthy men during the past three years in Switzerland and France. After receiving large s -ms she provoked quarrels, and deserted them. When arrested, she said, "How can you prevent silly old men wanting to marry me and giving mo presents?"
