"THE NEW ALADDIN."
A large audience'was. again, delighted by "The New Aladdin" at the Grand Opera House on Saturday night. This brilliant pantomime has some brilliantly spectacular scenes, arranged with consummate art, and novel features add to its success. Scenery, lighting effects, and frocking are superb. Mr. Bruce Green's "Widow Twankey" is. irresistibly humorous, and good work is done by Mr. Gus. Bluett as Aladdin's foster-brother. Miss Floie Al lan is-charming as the principal boy, and Miss Roma Phillips in a dainty princess. "El Radiants," an electric, novelty, the "Webbing Girls," who pose in mid-air, and many other novelties, make the pantomime go with a swing.
