HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
George Ward and his new Snapshot Revue Company made a first appearance at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday, when they presented "The Legend of the Ring." Geoige Ward, better known as "Little Heri..ie," is a type of comedian who takes the public fancy, and on Saturday afternoon and evening he scored successes. "The Legend o£ the Ring is a simple story, but it is well sprinkled with humour, and much of the fun-making falls to Hermie-^and Bert Le Blanc. The latter's interpretation of Abe Cohen will be remembered for a long time. Among the well-known artists to reappear with this company are Miss Daisy Yates, singer and dancer, Mr. Les Wharton, Mr. Yorke Gray, and Mr. William Beresford, baritone. Miss Lila Marion and Miss Adelaide Taylor are two strong members of the cast. The company is not without its ballet, and the Snapshot Six do a lot to make the show go with a swing. In the vaudeville part of the programme there are Franks and Newton, little June Megan, Joe Brennan and Ida Newton, and Halma (juggler).
