LODGE MEETINGS

The fortnightly meeting of the Rose of thn Valley Lodge, Lower Hutt, was held, on Thursday,l Bib. Tasker, N.G., presiding over a large attendance. Two candidates. were proposed for membership, and two clnims ■f or maternity allowances were Teceived. Invitations to social evenings were received from the Loyal Britannia and Kilbirnie Lodges, and were accepted. The Sister Wallis Lodge paid an official visit,, and members of the Loyal Britannia, Antipodean, and Potone Lodges were also presci f, and received a warm welcome with. lougo honours. Ar. the conclusion of busi-' ness the lodge adjourned, and a very enjoyable social and dance was held.
