The Prime Minister (the Hon. J. G. Coates) left Dunedin this morning, for;. Christchurch, where he will attend a function arranged by the electors, of Ellesmere in honour of Sir Hoaton Bhodes. —Press Association. The Hon. Q. J. Haw.ken (Minister of Agriculture) and, the Hon.' J. A. Young (Minister of Health) returned to "Wellington from the North to-day. His Honour Mr. Justice Alpers left for Palmerston to-day, to open . the criminal sessions of the Supreme Court to-morrow. '
