A FUSED ELECTRIC CABLE.

AUCKLAND, This Day.

The fusing of an electric cable, at 8.50 this morning, caused an explosion in the footpath outside the premises of the Auckland Meat Co. in Queen street, Flames shot out of the pavement and get fire to the wooden frame of the shop window, which was shattered. The fire brigade extinguished tho flames.
