SYDNEY, This Day.
In a statement regarding the owners' attitude in connection with the threat of the Federated Engine Drivers and Firemen's Association to strike in view of the alleged reduction of wages under the recent award, the Coal Tribunal says that no such reduction was made. On tho contrary, it adds material advances, concessions in conditions, and shorter hours from 4G to 43 have been awarded.
