KING'S THEATRE.
Daily and nightly, capacity houses greet each appearance of Metro-Goldwyn's famous special production, "The Rag Man," which is now showing at the King's Theatre. It is a picture with a dual appeal —as much for adults as for children, and is one of the most human stories ever £Imed, with pathos and humour subtly blended, and with many lovable characters. The phenomenal success it has experienced throughput. the world is ample indication of the universal popularity of Jackie Coogan, while Max Davidson, America's finest Jewish character actoi', is co■tarred with the 'famous juvenile, and in .this production registers his greatest triumph. A splendid supporting programme, ./together with a specially selected score of ,-incidental music by the King's Select Orchestra, are additional attractions. Matinees are taking place daily, at 2.30.
)■ PARAMOUNT THEATRE. f "Joanna," screening each day this • *veek at .. the Paramount Theatre is quite a good " film story, a parallel in general idea to the popular "Brewaster's Millions," on the stage and screen a few years ago. Other films shown are a ' Gaumont Graphic, a Felix cartoon, and a laughable comedy,, "Dipping into the fDeep." Pleasing music is added by the paramount Orchestra.
