TIVOLI THEATRE.
Book-lovers are well catered for in the way of entertainment at the Tivoli Theatre, as the bill is comprised of two excellent films adapted from stories written by two well-known writers. The first attraction, "The Stranger," starring Betty Compson, Richard Dix, Lewis Stone, and Tully Marshall, is an adaptation of John Galsworthy's story, "The First and the Last," a masterpiece of romance and mystery. The second picture is adapted from Robert W. Chambers's thrilling story of love and romance, "Love and Sacrifice," featuring Carol Dempster, Lionel Barrymore, Neil Hamilton. The box plan is at The Bristol, or ring theatre for reserves. This bill will b« screened continuously {rum 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
