DANCING.

The Bohemian Assembly, a muchfavoured old-time dance, holds its usual Saturday entertainment to-night ir, St. Peter's Hall. The success of this assembly shows that the introduction of old-time dancing has proved welcome. The musical accompaniment will be by Miss Hawthorn's Orchestra. . . ■..'■•■ The Violet Assembly is holding a summer carnival to-night in the Early Settlers' Hall. Twelve prizes will be given away during the evening, all patrons having a chance to win. Ballons and streamers will be distributed free, and there will be twenty prizes in the lucky waltz. Maybury '3 Orchestra will supply the latest music. Patrons are asked to attend in flannels and blazers.
