MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mi\ 0. R.Orr-Walker presided at the Magistrate's Court this morning. , One first-offending inebriate was fined £1, in default forty-eight hours 1 imprisonment. Two similar offenders were each fined 10s, and another first-offender was lined 10s, in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment. : Bertram Glover, who was charged with drunkenness andwith breaking a window in the Eastbourne Ferry Service building was- fined 10s on the first charge, and for the second offence was ordered to pay. £1, in default forty-eight, hours' imprisonment.
Joseph Clements, charged with wilfully damaging a window, valued at £3 the property of Edwin. Joseph Ellis, was lined £2, and bordered to pay damages amouting to £3. On a further charge of being found on premises without lawful excuse, he was ordered to come up lor sentence when called upon. For committing a breach of his prohibition order, George Williams, alias "Edward Crawford, alias Wilson, alias Uiompson.. was ordered to remain in 1 lie .balvation Army Home for sixmonths on condition that he refrain from taking intoxicating liquor. He was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within six months on a charge ot liomgfouiul on premises .without lawnil excuse..
