SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
A popular programme was presented to a big audience last evening at the Sailors Friend Society. Mrs. J. Moore was hostess, and she was ably .assisted lhe performers were: Mesdames E. J Buvfc arid Astill, Misses J. Joseph E Kimbell, I. Stanton, Norah Burt, and Messrs. Jones, Benge, and Ogilvie. Mrs E. J. Burt was at the piano. "Supposition" was the title chosen by Mr. James Moore for his temperance chat' Pledges following (as usual. The competition prizes came from Mesdamos Maunsell .md Pridmore, and went to the men in port.
