Last night saw the final presentation at the Grand Opera House of the attrac- ™. Ye musical comedy "Wildflower," and the delightful story of Italian life will be replaced to-night by the successful production, "The Cousin From Nowhere." which contains charming musical numbers, exquisite -ballets, brilliant ■ ensembles, clever and original comedy, and also unfolds a fascinating and very interesting love romance. Reports from Australia, are to the effect that Miss Marie Burkes singing and acting of the part of Julia van Osten helped coneideraWy to make "The Cousin Ffrom Nowhere tie outstanding success of Sydney last year. Miss Floie Allen has scored her greatest triumph as Freda |in "The Cousin From Nowhere." Mr Gus Bluett is one of the best comedians | the Australian stage has known, and he too, is at his best in "The Cousin From Nowhere. ' Mr. Noel Allan's excellent baritone voice receives its chance in the music allotted the role of The Stranger, and there is a powerful cast. The picturesque staging is iO ne of the features of the comedy. Only the four evening performances can be staged of "The ! Cousin From Nowhere," and there will be a special matinee on Saturday afternoon.
