AT TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT.
Nothing lias been left undone to ensure the success of "The Good Luck !• 11' w, hl£ h hto be held in the Town Hall and Concert Chamber to-night in aid of the Community ' Club, Buckle street. Not even the weather, it is claimed, has been neglected, and with such an auspicious beginning as to-day's beautiful weather, it is .anticipated that to-night's gathering will prove one of the most popular and enjoyable ever held in Wellington. Besides the "good luck decorations, there will be a -rand parade of mascots, for the winners of which special prizes will be awarded. Another prize will be handed to the best paper fancy dress, the judge of the whole of the competitions being Mrs. James Hannah. In addition a special prize will he given to the lucky one of the mascot caps which will be sold in the hall, and will be numbered. Both of Xutschkas Orchestras have been engaged for the occasion, and as Mr. J A. Smyth, of "Joy Night" fame, will be in charge of the dancing, a joyous night may be looked for.
