BROOKLYN GARDENERS
The president of the Brooklyn Horticultural Society (Mr. G. CL Clark) in moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet last evening made reference to the progress of the society during the year; the summer and autumn shows had teen, quite a success from a horticultural point of view. The winning of the Rose Joseph's trophy was an excellent achievement on which members -were to be congratulated. The finances had been carefully managed. Bo trusted that the incoming year would see a big increase in the membership of the society. The election of officer* for the ensuing year resulted as follow :— Patron: . Mr. A.
