The track is somewhat holding after the heavy rain yesterday. Results: Dargaville Handicap, in harness, of 75 soys; one and a half miles.— Dillon Huon 1, Speed King 2, Gold Dial 3. Scratched: Lola, Reldaw. Won by a length. Time, 3min 45sec. Counties' Handicap, in saddle, of 75 soys; 4.10 class; one and a half miles. Lola Reklaw 1, Treanac.2, Hal Lady 3. Scratched: Rogerwood. Won by five lengths. Time, 4min 3sec. Whangarei Handicap : Peter IM'Donald 1, Tod Bells 2, Ngatira 3. Scratched : Gold Sign, Cheddar, Belle Timbell. Won by two lengths. Time, 4min 39sec.
