WHERE IS WELLINGTON?
Auckland and Canterbury are preparing to be worthily represented at the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition in Dunedin, but up to the present Wellington appears to have done little in this respect. Arrangements for the Exhibition are now well advanced, and it is evident that it will be thoroughly representative of New Zealand and of the Empire. Promises of support have been received from Great Britain and from the sister Dominions. In these circumstances Wellington cannot afford to allow lethargy or past differences of opinion to hinder her whole-hearted participation. It is to be hoped that the Chamber of Commerce and the Industrial Association will give the matter early consideration, so that the business community is given a strong lead. The co-operation of local bodies should also be sought, and no pains spared to see that Wellington is represented in a manner worthy of the importance of the city, the port, and the Xn-ovince.
