DANCING.
A "Good Luck Ball" is to be held in the Town Hall and Concert Chamber next Wednesday. One of the principal features of the ball will be the wearing of mascots, or any emblem of "good luck," and in order that dancers may give full rein to their imagination, the executive has decided to offer a gold wristlet watch to the lady giving the best representation, while the winning gentleman will also bo awarded a special prize. Other prizes will be given for the best and neatest mascot representation worn on the lapel of the coat or dress, and also for the best fancy dress costumes. First-class music has been arranged, Tutschka's two orchestras having been engaged for the occasion. The ball is being held in aid of the funds of the Community Club, which has been established for the benefit of Territorials and Senior Cadets.
