HATAITAI REFORMERS ORGANIS- .' ING.
Wellington East electorate is at present represented by. a Labour member, Mr. A. L. Monteith, but Mr. R. Darroch, headmaster of the Terrace School, and secretary of the Navy League' and the Wellington Cricket Association, intends to stand at' the next election as a Nationalist candidate.
In the meantime, the Hataitai Reformers _ are organising, and last night they decided to form a branch of the party. Mr. H. R. Searle, who presided over the meeting, summed up the feelings of those present by saying that it behoved all citizens .who took a pride in their country to see that representatives were sent to Parliament who knew their job. Officers of the branch were appointed as fallow:—President, Mr. H R Searle; vice : presidents,.Mrs. Seville and Mr. 5. L. Arcus; committee, Messrs. T. M. Donovan, C. Sims, H. A. Huggins, W..E. Cathie, M. Gandar, C. H. Seville, and H. Filfner.
