An interesting case involving a legal point in relation to stamp duty began in the Magistrate's Court this morning, when Fred Wilding, K.C., and Leslie Arthur Dougall were charged that on 13th August, 1923, at Christchurch, being concerned in or about a memorandum of transfer dated 13th August, 1925. with intent (o defraud Uis Majesty. did omit fully and truly to set forth all the [acts and circumstances affecting Mir. amount of the ad valorem duly with which sunn instrument is chargeable. ■ ■
