COMING OF KREISLER.
It is now definitely. announced that Mi. K. J. Carroll bas secured suitable dates which will allow Kreislcr, the greatest living violinist, to give a limited number of recitals spread over Auckland, Wellington, Clu-istchurcb, and Duncdiu prior to his return to Kuropo. It had been hoped thiil Kreisler would be persuadod to leave the art centres of Europe and let Antipodeans hear what a violin is in tho hands of a violinist who can. play as no other musician in the world can play, and now that hope is about to reach fulfilment. Mr. Carroll announces that,^ owing to the necessarily brief stay in New Zealand, concerts must follow close upon one another. The Wellington recitals will be given in the Town Hall, on Tuesday and Thursday, 9th and ]lth June, the preferential box plans for which are now open at Tha Bristol. •
