MONTEVIDEO, 18th May. The British steamer Trehawke, a month ago, struck a reef sixty miles south of Cape Pilar, and foundered immediately. Thirty-four of the crew, crowded into two lifeboats, rowed aimlessly for several clays, and were fearfully exhausted when the Norwegian steamer Taloma sighted them. So great was the rush to get aboard the Taloma that two men lost their lives. • •
