William Speers, aged 45, a single man, holding a small area of land in the Tomoana locality, was found burnt to death in his' three-roomed cottage, which was completely destroyed by fire this morning. When the body was recovered from the flames the legs were burnt off and the head and trunk unrecognisable! " A portion of his clothes was recovered. From documents found outside the house it is thought to be a cas?> of suicide
