HAIR BEAUTY . WITHOUT TONIC OR SOAP WASHES. If you notice a woman with deadlooking dry and brittle hair, you may depend on it she is not particular in avoiding the use of Soap or ready-made shampoos, which contain too much alkali, a harsh chemical that never should touch the hair. If you are one of the few who like .to make the most of your hair, like to make it look heavier than it is, read this: Really the most elegant and safe thing to use is ordinary colinated coconut oil (a pure saponified, but quite greaseless liquid), which is not at all expensive, but is far, far better than soaps or other scalp-injurious things. Every chemist keeps a supply of this, and a few ounces lasts you and mother, sisters arid brothers for months. Just wet the hair with water and rub it through thoroughly. One or two teaspoonsful is plenty to create a big quantity of rich, heavy, creamy lather. It cleanses delightfully, and rinses out easily. The hair •dries quickly and easily, and comes out brilliant, soft, fluffy, wavy, and fresh as a daisy, looking much thicker than it actually is. Best of all, this colinated coconut oil leaves the hair as easy to dress again as though you hadn't washed it at all. And yet it loosens and carries off. every bit of excess oiliness, dust, dirt, or dandruff scurf. (IMPORTANT.—Do not confuse Colmated Coconut Oil with cheap and sticky emulsified coconut oils, or raw coconut oils. There is only one genuine Cohnated Coconut Oil, non-gieasy, and is compounded only by the International Laboratories. Look for the maker's name qn every bottle to secure satisfaction.) —A'dvt. I wonder if love is a dream. When I dream I'm beloved by you I 'wonder are dreams what the.y seem And I wonder do dreams come true.' My mind is distracted by doubt. And nothing seems certain and sure ' But the fact that bad colds fads out ' Where there* Woods' Peppermint Cure — Advt
