MAGISTERIAL INQUIRY OPENS TO-DAY.

CHRISTCHURCH, 17th -Hard. Frederick Peter Mouat; who is accused of the murder of his wife, Helen Louise Nellie Mouat, will appear in the Magistrate s Court to-morrow. It is understood the police will call one witness, J. B. Merrett, brother of Mrs. Mouat, as ho intends to leave for Australia shortly. Mr. C. S. Thomas will appear for the defence.
