AGRICULTURAL SHOWS
PROMISING: OPENING AT CARTERI TON.
(BI TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL TO THB POST.) CARTERTON, This Day. The Wairarapa Show opened to-day, in clear, windy weather. There is an excellent entry, though the cattle sections have been affected by next week's Royal Show at Palmerston North. Everything is proceeding well, under excellent management, and the show promises to be one of the most successful in the history of the local association.
