As previously announced by the J. C. Williamson management, following on the success of their first World's Entertainers, headed by Bransby Williams, new companies at regular intervals will be presented to Dominion theatre-goers. The second new and complete combination of English, American, and Continental acts will open at the Grand Opera House , next Wednesday evening. for a short season. This company is headed by Hetty King, described as England's greatest male impersonator. Her fame on both sides of the Atlantic is great. Hetty King's range of song runs from the dude to the navvy, whilst her naval and military numbers are classics in the vaudeville world. " London's Darling " is the billing of Rosle Lloyd, of the famous theatrical Lloyd iamily, who will be heard in up-to-date songs and seen in the latest frocks. A Scottish comedian and his bonnis lassie, Donald and Carson, are described as "comedians because they are humorous, and still have the haggis, heather, and' shortbread in their voices." A pantomimist and juggler, Ed La Vine, supplied the comedy act of the last Big pantomime at the Lyceum Theatre, London. Away from the_ beaten track are Holloway and Austin, in impersonations and dances on the wire. " Roman sports and pastimes as they were not," by Laveen and Cross, as "Julius and Brutus," is a traversty on the ancient Roman gladiator. A clever society entertainer, Dudley Dale, presents cartoons and eccentric songs. " Ace high jazz " is the act of Ross'. Barker, and M'Lellan. The programme will be presented on the same scale of completeness as that of the last company. The box plans open next Monday at»The Bristol for the season.
