' LONDON", 18th June. In the London championships, at the I Queen's Club, N. E. Brookes (Australia) jbeat Millard, 6-4, 6-4; Mayes beat BayI In a Yankee tournament Vincent Richards and F. M. B. Fisher beat D. M. Greig and Wallis Myers, 7-S, 6-4, 7-5; N. E. Brookes and Carl Fisher ' beat . Bayley and J. Willard, 1-6, 7-5/6-3. Mile. Suzanne Lenglen has arrived from Paris. She says she is prepared to meet anybody at Wimbledon. It was thought that Mile. Lenglen would not meet the world's champion at AVimbledon, as she has not been well for some time, and in addition had questioned the fairness of English referees. Last year the French champion had her fifth successive victory, but this year it <is anticipated that Miss Helen Wills, a | Ca'ifornian girl, who is champion of the [United States, will go very near to de- ! i'eating tho hitherto invincible French ! lady.
