The fifteenth annual meeting of the beatouu Association Football Club was held this week, Mr. G. R. M'Kay presiding. .. f ' c In presenting the annual report for the past season, the secretary, on behalf of the committee, congratulated all concerned on the splendid results achieved by the club, which was stated to be one of the largest and most successful competing under the W.F.A., having approximately 100 playing members on its rolls. lho details of the club's successes in the past season were as follow:—Won third-grade championship; won fourth-grade championship; won fourth A grade and eighth-grade Charity Cups. Apart from these matches, a shield donated by Mr. B. Thorpe for competition between Eastern Hutt School, Anglican Boys' Home, and Seatonn sixth-grade- was won by Sealoun. (The club also gained the club aggregate points championship, the number of points gained being 155. ■ The meeting passed a vote of thanks to the retiring secretary, Mr. A. S. Murie.
The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. Murie (re-elect-ed); president, Mr. G. R. M'Kay (reelected) ; vice-presidents, Mrs. Tracey and Messrs. H. J. Wyaffr, A. P. Smith. A. S. Murie, and C. H. Brown ; treasurer,_Mr. E. C. Smyth; secretary, Mr. A. N. Grimstone.
